Growing up i used to think celebrities were only into entertainment but time has come to change all of that with most of them veering into some other form of creativity. Perfumes, Bags, Shoes...name it, they all got it going and have also made their mark. I decided to compile a list of male and female celebrity perfumes that are appealing and alluring; some i have personally explored and others i have not but somehow have heard people pass pleasant comments about. They are simply the smell of success in a bottle and here are the few that made my list:
- FANTASY BY BRITNEY SPEARS - This america born musician who at a time dominated the music scene owns a beautiful fragrance you would certainly love to try out. Launched in 2005, Fantasy has a lovely smell that lingers. A fruity gourmand fragrance with mix of litchi, golden quince, kiwi and musk, this provocative fragrance is certainly a statement anytime any day. I call it sugar in a bottle. I loved this and still it and till date my closet never lacks this.
- M BY MARIAH CAREY - Another wonderful fragrance. If you love it feminine but sensual, this is worth the try and is not anything to leave a hole in your pocket. This first launch by Mariah Carey captured in a very romantic and delicate bottle was designed for her by Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong. it is mainly a combination of sweet marshmallow and fresh sea notes.Launched in 2007, it comes in a Eau de parfum bottle of 50ml and 100ml.
- GLAM BY KIM KARDASHIAN - Another fragrance some of us may be embarrassed to sport is Kim Kardashian's Glam perfume. However, this perfume has an enticing floral-fruity scent that makes you forget it's created by a celebrity that actually became famous for no real reason. Kim Kardashian's Glam has notes of tuberose, jasmine, rose, sandalwood, and iris butter. It's definitely for those of us who can't decide between having a fruity or floral scent as it encompasses both. Kim's fragrance is incredibly girly and flirtatious
- WHITE DIAMONDS BY ELIZABETH TAYLOR - Any time, any day, any occasion, this perfume will not let you down. An all rounder in its own class. This is simply the fragrance dreams are made of. The name epitomizes quality, extraordinarily rare and overwhelmingly beautiful jewel...this is just what it is in a bottle. A rich sensual fragrance with the endless brilliance of a rare jewel. If you love it strong, this is it for you. I don't know about other Elizabeth Taylor's fragrances but this is one that am dead sure of and worth the dime. Not a huge expense yet a huge impression.
- JENNIFER ANISTON BY JENNIFER ANISTON - In the creation of her debut fragrance, Jennifer Aniston recalled memories of sunny days at the beach and happy summer nights to develop her sensual, floral, and clean smelling perfume. Her fragrance includes notes of citrus grove accord, rose water, jasmine, violet, musk, amber, and sandalwood. This scent is the perfect fresh and clean fragrance to wear during the summer months or on days where you need to be reminded of the beach. Recommended though for the mature audience and not for teens.
- FAME BY LADY GAGA - Being her first perfume, one would wonder if this would be a good sell. However not only is it a good sell but the bomb. The vivacious Lady Gaga is certainly knows how to make a statement. The fragrance is built on three main accords: dark accord, sensual accord and light accord. The dark accord includes poisonous flower Belladonna and incense, which evolve into the sensual and opulent wave of honey drops, saffron and apricot. A floral veil of Sambac jasmine and tiger orchid embody light and beauty.The liquid of the perfume is also innovative—it is colored in black but becomes invisible when it touches the skin. Just like the fame itself: "It’s black like the soul of fame, but invisible once airborne." You will get hooked after your first use.
- SIGNATURE BY CELINE DION - Very grown-up and classic – almost vintage-style...never used this personally but i hear it is a must try. With a whisper of fruitiness in the overture and a luxurious floral heart (jasmine, rose, magnolia), Signature finishes with a sexy encore of musk and sandalwood.
8. ESSENCE BY DAVID BECKHAM - For the man that knows the power of expression...Conveying ‘a sense of adventure and moments spent with loved ones’ (as David puts it) are elements of grapefruit, lavender, cardamom and patchouli. He’s heavily involved in all the fragrances that carry his name and if Victoria loves it, chances are you will too.
